Registration of the shares of companies by the Central Depository and Registration System

Pursuant to the new Investment Law No. (72) of 2017, article 51 of which states: “The joint stock companies and the companies recommending shares shall submit the certificate of deposit of the securities of the company to a central depository company …” Some provisions of Law No. (159) for 1981 by Law No (4) for 2018, which stipulates in article (17/1) that “the need to obtain a certificate from one of the central depository and registration companies licensed to deposit the securities of joint stock companies and companies with shares Central Depository and Registration.
